23 Feb 19 entities of Spain launch the first global LegalTech Hub in Europe
The LegalTech hub has become the first global gathering of companies and institutions in the European LegalTech sector, which was held in the ICAB headquarters on the 17th February and AlterWork is one of the proud founding members!
This initiative unites different stakeholders in the legal sector, with the aim to encourage and strengthen the digital transformations taking place in the legal space on a global scale. The LegalTech Hub was created from the genuine need to unite technology with the legal field.
The traditional ways of service provision in the legal sector is in the process of transformation since the arrival of new stakeholders that offer new and innovative solutions to obtain legal assistance and knowledge. This hub intends to be an inclusive organisation, both transversally and globally, that relies on the collaboration of the main institutions, law firms and companies.
AlterWork, along with Banc Sabadell, Red Points, Universitat de Barcelona, Cuatrecasas, Roca Junyent, Deloitte Legal, PimecJoves, Across Legal, ETL Holding Espana, Jane Advocats, Cirial 180, vLex Espana, BigleLegal, Validated ID, Metricson, Councilbox technology, Pridatect, and Signaturit, founded this touchpoint to gather around legal tech professionals and enthusiasts to share insights about the advancements and the innovation in the sector. The idea is done in order to enhance and improve the objectives and the services offered, while also to spread the knowledge on how to make the best out of using legal technologies.
